Knott Hall Developments Ltd. (‘KHD’), formed in 2019 by Jane Carling, designs and builds executive style quality homes, mixing tradition with contemporary design, stylish living and amenities. KHD specialises in new builds, working in conjunction with Lakeside Developments Ltd, who have over 40 years of building experience. KHD also works with highly experienced architects, such as The Robert Doughty Consultancy and John Dickie Associates, both of which have long-standing track records of success.

Jane, whose original background is in interior design, was previously a Director of Fabric Venturers Northern Ltd, part of the Fabric Warehouse Group. Following the sale of the Fabric Warehouse Group, and prior to founding KHD, Jane worked as an independent developer concentrating on property renovations and barn conversions.

In 2021, Phillip Pick – MRICS – was appointed a KHD Director. Phillip is a Chartered Surveyor with 35 year’s experience acting in an advisory capacity with banks and investors. He has spent the last 10 years working and gaining experience within residential property development and completing major projects.
